Demke and Maddern Racing looking forward to Topeka

Submitted by JRogers on Thu, 2012-05-17 15:58

Topeka, KS – After an early exit from the Houston race, the Maddern Racing Team were given a homework assignment. Their task was to head back to the shop and work on their race car. It sure beats calculus or writing a twelve page essay on African tree frogs. This weekend at Heartland Park Topeka, they will present their findings to the class, the Top Alcohol Dragster class that is.

“I am looking forward to going fast,” said Maddern Racing driver Chris Demke. “The boys have been working hard on the combination, and I am confident the car will respond.”

Demke to Start another Streak in Texas

Submitted by JRogers on Fri, 2012-04-27 00:54

Baytown, TX - Chris Demke and his Peen Rite Top Alcohol Dragster are heading down to Texas to start another winning streak. A semi-final loss at the Vegas National event stopped a 2-0 start to the year. A few weeks off provided the time needed to freshen things up on the Peen Rite/801 Racing entry. The confidence from those wins at Pomona and Gainesville are still with the Team.

Demke to Race Delayed Final at National Event

Submitted by JRogers on Tue, 2012-03-27 14:21

Las Vegas, NV - The final round of the Vegas Regional has been delayed. Not the greatest of news to Chris Demke and Jim Whiteley. The two racers were paired up in the Top Alcohol Dragster final, but a errant piece of paper had other ideas. Just as the cars were approaching the finish line, something disturbed the timing lights. So the race was put on hold until the third round of qualifying at the SummitRacing.com NHRA National event this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Demke Brings the Big Mo to Phoenix Regionals

Submitted by JRogers on Thu, 2012-02-23 19:33

Phoenix, AZ – Momentum is defined as a strength or force gained by motion or by a series of events. After taking the Top Alcohol Dragster win in Pomona, Chris Demke and his Peen Rite Team are bringing that momentum into the Regional race at Firebird Raceway this weekend. The Regional event in Phoenix is the first in the newly formed racing series that replaced the divisional system.

“It allows us to go to more national events, which is good for us,” said Demke. “It also means more competitors.”

Pomona, Ca – Chris Demke and the Peen Rite Top Alcohol Dragster Team went to the 2012 NHRA race season opener with a hunger. Their Winternationals victory turned out to be a feast. Maddern Racing Begin Three Race 'Northern Swing' in Seattle

Submitted by JRogers on Fri, 2011-08-05 10:01

KENT, Wash. -- As the Peen Rite/Clean Boost Top Alcohol Dragster Team makes their way north for their first of three races on a Northern Mini Tour, they hold close in their hearts the memory of last years Northwest Nationals in Kent, Washington.

As the winners of that event from 2010, which to this day remains secondary, this is also the one year anniversary of fellow competitor Mark Niver's untimely "perfect storm" fatality. The two teams were to compete against one another in the final round.
