Chris Demke and 801 Racing Team Up for Winternationals Win
Pomona, Ca – Chris Demke, driver of the 801 Racing sponsored dragster, capped off a team effort in winning the O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals this past weekend. Demke not only won the trophy, but in the final round, he ran the quickest elapsed time of the race with a stout 5.28 @ 270 mph.
“It was a great win, and having the guys from 801 Racing there made it even better,” said Demke. “I am very happy to be continuing our relationship with 801 Racing and to be running the Revvolution Oil with CleanBoost Technology.”
Garrett Bateman to be clutch specialist at US Nationals
CleanBoost Performance Oil Racing family member and all purpose racing guru, Garrett Bateman, will be the clutch specialist on Brady Kalivoda's Top Fuel Dragster this weekend at The US Nationals in Indy. Garrett is the 2009 Nitro Nostalgia Funny Car Champion, as well as the driver for Paul Ogden's Flying Fish World Land Speed Record holding 1968 Barracuda.
Bateman will be driving Les Leggett's Nitro Pirate Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car sponsored by Steve Strope's Pure Vision Design/Racing in a couple weeks at Bakersfield's Saturday Night Nitro event.
