James Day

There has never been any doubt in James Day's mind that driving a racecar would be in his future.
James was three weeks old when his parents brought him to his first drag race. From then on James has spent his entire life around racecars, learning how to build them, how to repair them, and how to drive them. James is a young & marketable professional, whom possesses a vast knowledge about racecars, both the business side and the mechanical side. James has a real drive to promote and become a World Champion.
James graduated from San Clemente High School, San Clemente, California in 1996. Up until the time of graduation, he worked around the garage helping his father rebuild motors, restore old cars and work on whatever else he could get his hands on. During that time, James worked with Chuck and Del Worsham on their fuel Funny Car and with Mert Littlefield on his Top Alcohol Funny Car whenever he could get away from school. School was important but drag racing always came first.
When not racing, James enjoys working on hot rods and custom cars, surfing, skate boarding, motorcycle riding in the desert and mountain bike riding.
James is happily married and is the recent proud father of a baby boy.
