Shelby Meikle

CleanBoost Performance Motor Oil is proud to support Shelby Meikle and his Junior Dragster team.
Shelby started racing at age 11 in early 2006. The family purchased his first Jr. Dragster, a 2004 Bret Williamson built chassis, sponsored by Impact Racing. His first win didn’t come until 2007, but he was runner up multiple times. That first win in ‘07 was special because of the fact that he went so many rounds and he was excited to receive a trophy about 4 feet tall. In 2008, he was runner up various times and the family stepped up into a new car, a 2006 RPC Diablo chassis, with a 31/4” Mcgee Block, and a Gaged Engineering centrifugal clutch. His current best time in the 1/8th mile is 7.90 seconds at 85 miles per hour.>
In 2009, Monaco Las Vegas came on board as the primary sponsor and Shelby partnered with veteran Jr dragster driver Sean McMasters as crew chief. He didn’t see the winner circle but definitely saw a lot of final rounds. In 2010, Monaco Las Vegas was unable to support the team, so he is currently looking for additional marketing partners, along with Clean Boost Performance Motor Oil to compete in 2011!
